- Cette photo a été prise à Le Pas, au Manitoba. La photo est celle d’une [aînée autochtone] (une femme) qui était traitée pour [tuberculose] à l’hôpital de Clearwater Lake en 1962, et d’une infirmière. L’infirmière a les bras sur les épaules de la femme autochtone et ils posent tous les deux à côté d’un arbre de Noël décoré. Sur le mur, un panneau qui dit « MERRY CHRISTMAS » (JOYEUX NOËL) est visible. En arrière-plan de la photo, une salle d’hôpital est visible. Dans la chambre d’hôpital il y a deux femmes, une est couchée sur le bord d’un lit et l’autre tient la femme qui est couchée sur le lit.

- Scope and Content (English)
- This photograph was taken in The Pas, Manitoba. The photograph is of an [indigenous elder] (a woman) who was being treated for [tuberculosis] at Clearwater Lake Hospital in 1962, and a nurse. The nurse has her arms on the indigenous woman's shoulders and they are both posing beside a decorated christmas tree. On the wall a sign that says ''MERRY CHRISTMAS'' is visible. In the background of the photograph a hospital room is visible. In the hospital room there are two women, one is lying on the edge of a bed and the other is holding the woman who is lying on the bed.
