Scope and Content

Une photographie du groupe de théâtre du Club dramatic de St-Jean-Baptiste. Programme - To Honor Our Priest-Jubilarians. Au centre de la photo on voit: le révérend E. L. Savoie O.M.I., Pasteur, et le révérend O. J. Pilon O.M.I., Assistant. On peut lire une note en anglais au bas de la photo: Entire Cast of the Silver Jubilee Festa, an allegorical presentation. Introduced by the call of trumpets and announced by the Angel of the Jubilee, there followed tributes of praise to our two Jubilarians given by the symbolical Spirits of Music, Flowers, Gratitude, Prayer, Poetry, Learning, Religion, Faith, Hope, Love, and the Spirit of the Priesthood. A presentation of gifts was followed by an address by each of the Fathers. The celebration closed with a Final Chorus: "Joy19! Joy! Joy!". Au verso de la photo est écrit: Sister M. Rosalie, Principal, École St-Jean-Baptiste. Une copie du programme accompagne la photo.
