- Custodial History
- Ce négatif a été numérisé en 2006 par Lorne Coulson à 600 dpi avec un Microtek ScanMaker 9600XL. Lorne a en fait une copie tiff à des fins de préservation et une copie jpeg pour pouvoir diffuser l'image sur le Web. L'image a été décrite par Stéphanie Fortier et Jacinthe Duval en 2007 et a été préparée à la congélation par Carole Boily en 2006 afin d'en assurer la préservation.

- R.P. Louis Moraud O.M.I. au Portage à Rivière-aux-Anglais. Retour de la desserte sur la Rivière Epinette, pendant la visite pastorale du 21 au 27 juillet 1942.
- Description SHSB-2007:
- Dans cette photographie, il y a quatre hommes dans un canot. Ils sont sur l'eau, près d'une rive. Sur la rive, il y a plein de roches et d'arbres.
- Un commentaire de Raymond Dauvin : "July 24, 1942--Father Louis Moraud by the Dipper Portage (Portage La Puisse) on the Churchill River returning from visiting the outlying settlements of his mission of Pine River. He is travelling with three men in a motorised canoe. (Sylvester Dorothy identified the man with the hat as Alex Campbell of Clear Lake)".
